The custom whips Jonn uses are a three foot black and red signal whip for warm ups, light strikes and breast play,. a matched pair of Joe Wheeler five foot signal whips for double handed cross cracking work and Florentine. He also uses a four foot ( seven foot overall ) bullwhip for wraps and harder strikes. He is passionate about the "Art of Whipping" and enjoys teaching responsible, safe whip handling techniques so that others can experience the rich complexity of a single tail scene.

Beginning/intermediate Workshop 2 1/2 Hours This workshop is designed for those who have never held a whip in their hand and also for experienced players who are looking for more skill development. Participants will receive instructions on how to buy the best whips and how to use them in a scene within just one or two days of practice. Both experienced and new players will learn a range of techniques to develop accuracy, degrees of strike intensity and scene development. Whip safety for both Top and Bottom will be covered and will include the best areas to strike the bottom and also areas to avoid. Although " Whip Technique" is one thing, " Scene Set Up and Development" is quite another and both aspects are important for an enjoyable and even profound experience. To this end, specific information will be provided on how to best set up a good " beginning, middle and end" for any whip scene. Whip scenes can vary from gentle stroking to fiery rain and onto painful red welted stripes, depending on the intent of the Top and interests and limits of the Bottom. Jonn's " Sensual Whipping" workshop will also include using a whip in the class, so if the participant has a whip they are encouraged to bring it. He will also provide a few additional whips from his personal collection for use by participants. Each technique will be demonstrated on his submissive Ariaal, so that everyone can see how particular skills are used in a scene on a live body. Whip technique can vary from light wraps, brushing the skin with whip tips to cracks on, then off the skin, each one producing different effects on the Bottom and being used in different places as the scene progresses. Every scene can have the intensity rating of ten and a deep powerful connection can develop between the Top and Bottom whether the whip is being used for gentle brushing or as a hard crack cutting the skin.

Advanced/Intermediate Workshop 2 1/2 Hours Jonn's advanced/intermediate workshop will cover additional ways to throw the whip, unusal areas to strike the body, positions to use without using a rack or a cross, bondage and whips, whips in a limited space (like a bedroom ), using two whips, one in each hand for specific techniques, including, cross forehand and backhand, Florentine and others.This workshop will also include using a whip in the class, so if the participant has a whip they are encouraged to bring it. Jonn will also provide a few additional whips from his personal collection for use by participants. Each technique will be demonstrated on his submissive Ariaal, so that everyone can see how particular skills are used in a scene. Jonn will also offer individual coaching on all techniques or any questions someone might have.
